2 week Triathlon, by 8 am

So, Courtney and I are doing the Richfield City 2 week Triathlon. That means you get 2 weeks to
meet all the requirements of an Iron-Man Triathlon. 112 Miles biking, 26.2 miles running, and 2.5 miles swimming. It has been really REALLY tough. I cant imagine any human being doing all
that in a single day. There are 2 more days until the end of the 2 week tri. and I have 3 miles left to run ( which I will complete in the morning. ) Courtney has 4 miles left to run, but needless to say by 8AM tomorrow morning we will be DONE DONE DONE DONE ! It has been quite an accomplishment. It sounded easy enough at first, but it was tough......and I cant wait until We do it again next year

Rene's Restaurant of Richfield

I thought it would be fun to blog about the rare times that I go out to eat.
Last Saturday, Don, Courtney and I ( and the boys ) went to Rene's, the new restaurant in Days Inn. It is kind of a tuscan menu. I ordered shrimp scampi ( around $13) It came with a trip to the salad bar which had a good mix of fruits and vegetables. The Shrimp came and it was cooked to perfection in a sauce of butter and lemon. It was served with a california mix of steamed vegetables. I was really impressed with it! Don got a tuscan chicken that was cooked with capers. He said it was very tasy. Courtney got a broiled salmon. I tatsed it and it was delicious.
If you are into mediterranean cuisine, this place is for you ! Buon Appetito
